Vision/Mission

To build up Smyrna Assembly as a house of prayer for all nations, and as a congregation that lives and breathes on prayer.

 

Objective

(i) Build up a core group of believers willing to pay the price of intercession.

(ii) Provide training to build up believers with a correct and balance understanding on prayer and intercession.

(iii) Mobilize more people to pray through combined prayer meeting with the various ministries for the various events.

(iv) Train up intercessors to spearhead and assist in the various areas of the Prayer Ministry.

(v) Support the Church leadership with prayer & intercession.

 

Philosophy

Prayer Ministry serves as a vehicle to encourage and teach members that prayer is a lifestyle. Through the combined prayer meeting with the various ministries, it is her desire to give a stronger prayer support to the ministries and missions. Provide training for the intercessors is another vital area to prepare and produce more prayer warriors to serve in the ministries and the church as a whole.

 

Areas of Ministry

(i) Intercessory Fasting Prayer (Every Tuesday- 7.30pm – 9.15pm)

Held weekly, it provides a place for the intercessors to come together and intercede for the needs of the church, ministries, nation of Singapore and the nations. It is also a place to exercise the gifts of the Holy Spirit and train up more intercessors.

(ii) Monthly Early Morning Prayer

1st of Every month from 5.30am to 6.30am
